Carlsberg possess one of the highest profile brands in the world, yet in the UK they are the #4 player in what is a highly mature and competitive market. Not the best of starting positions, but one that the new UK Board have started to tackle with energy and vision. Carlsberg UK decided to radically look at every aspect of the way they do business, and to become ‘simply the best beer company to do business with’.
Spring Partnerships were engaged in 2005 to work with the Board on this mission. A vision was established and work commenced on aligning the specific needs of the UK business with the brand and cultural values of the global group.
Carlsberg wanted company wide ‘embedded’ engagement; helped by Spring they engineered their business model to create a coaching culture - reaching far beyond senior management. Spring deliver culture development and coaching programmes, as well as Board level strategic consultancy.
